Public Service Announcement
Sorry this one is late guys! We took our daughter to Disneyland Tuesday, came back Wednesday, and my wife and daughter have been sick since.
I am still a one man team so it made me delay the release. With that said, you guys voted for coverage to shift from Friday to Wednesday so that’s what we will be going with from now on!
This will be a shorter than normal issue, but still plenty to checkout! Thanks for your patience guys. I appreciate you.

Riverview Marketplace Moves Forward
The long-planned Riverview Marketplace at Rosedale Highway and Coffee Road took another step forward this week after the Bakersfield Planning Commission approved its final environmental impact report and general plan amendment.
The proposed 46-acre shopping center would be anchored by Whole Foods, with McDonald’s also confirmed so far. Developers estimate the project could create roughly 1,000 construction jobs and another 1,000 permanent jobs once completed. The Bakersfield City Council is expected to consider the project in November.
